Twelve squeeky piglets

Bloody hell Gertrude where were you hiding all those piglets. 12 Healthy piglets were born last night between 7.30 and 11.05, unfortunately number 13 arrived a long time later stillborn. Mother and piglets are doing very well. She is a very protective mother and isn't keen on visitors at the moment. Once again Jane was a marvellous midwife, intuitively knowing when to step in and when to leave well alone. Whereas I was only capable of providing towels and cups of coffee whilst pacing up and down outside the maternity suite smoking!

Hello - I'm Lizzie, the youngest daughter of Ann Northey. I was just up visiting my mam and she said this was my cousin Jane's site but I'm not sure as I don't think you'd write about yourself in the third person!

Anyway, if you are connected to Jane, pass on my love to her, B, M, E and H. And Uncle J and Auntie M and the rest of the family too of course!

It looks like you are living our dream - just an allotment so far for us but we live in hope!

Your piggies are beautiful - congrats on all the new arrivals!

Hi Lizzie,
Yes I am your cousin and an allotment is enough when you have 2 little ones. I spoke to your mam last month and she keeps me up to date with all the family news.

If you are still visiting, your welcome to come for the day. It would be lovely to see you all.

I don't know if you get a copy of this reply, I hope so.
Explanation about speaking in the third person the pigs belong to my friend and I, who is also called Jane, so I speak for her as well as the pigs.

It was a lovely surprise to hear from you. Keep on touch
lots of love
Jane
